What information do we collect?
- We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.
- When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
- We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.
- Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please refer to the "How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?" section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and 'members-only' content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.
How do we protect visitor information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
Do we use "cookies"?
We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.
Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include Curl Junkie Hair Products, LLC. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.
To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

We currently only ship within the continental United States via UPS & USPS Priority Mail (USPS Priority is the only option for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands). We ship to Canada via USPS International Priority mail. All orders of in-stock merchandise will be shipped within 24-48 hours of order receipt unless otherwise specified. This is our standard procedure and not a guarantee. Although we place a high priority on getting your order shipped as soon as possible, please note we make no guarantees as large orders, seasonal peaks, severe weather conditions or other circumstances may sometimes delay shipping.
During the holiday seasons, we will post a suggested final date to place orders using various shipping methods. This information is provided by our carriers and is in no way a "guarantee" that your package will arrive in time for that holiday. This is simply a courtesy we provide. To alleviate this possible disappointment, we would strongly encourage you to have your orders placed earlier than the suggested final date. Thank you for your understanding.
We currently ship via UPS and USPS within the continental United States via:

4. USPS Priority Mail:Contiguous U.S. (estimated time once order leaves warehouse to reach you) 2-8 business days-Ground.
We are currently offering flat rate shipping on orders with a subtotal under $100. The rate is currently $8.00 for USPS Priority Mail and $10.50 UPS Ground for continental US orders only. Any other shipping options will be figured and charged according to weight and address. For orders over $100
(subtotal after any applicable discounts) you can choose free shipping via UPS Ground, or you can pay and choose USPS Priority Mail for a flat rate fee of $13.50. The free shipping option is only available via UPS Ground. Thanks!
Please note that UPS DOES NOT ship to APO/FPO addresses or PO Boxes.
You may also ship via USPS, but if you want to ship to a Military Address, APO, FPO or PO Box, you MUST ship via USPS Priority Mail. If you chose shipment via USPS Priority mail, you bear the risk if you
do not receive your package and we have delivery confirmation. In such
cases, we do not offer refunds or reshipment.
Our goal is to process all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt. Orders are processed and shipped during regular business hours (Monday through Friday 9:00AM - 4:00PM CST, excluding holidays).

Other Shipping Information
Once the carrier receives the package, we have no control over the actual delivery time it may take to be delivered. We declare that once the package has been handed to the shipping carrier that liability of the package no longer lies with Curl Junkie Hair Products LLC. We are therefore not liable for lost or stolen merchandise. Curl Junkie Hair Products LLC will not refund or reship any package that has been marked as "Delivered" by the carrier even if recipient claims non-receipt. It is possible that the package was left with neighbors, between the doors, etc. We suggest that the recipient contact the delivering carrier to verify where parcel was placed. Curl Junkie Hair Products LLC has no control over a carrier's decision if your location is considered "safe" to leave a package. If this happens the carrier (UPS) will leave a notice notifying you that an attempt was made for delivery. You must follow the carrier's directions on the notice for delivery of your package. If any package is returned to Curl Junkie Hair Products LLC for any reason (such as an inaccurate shipping address), a $2 restocking fee plus shipping & handling charges will be deducted from your refund. If you then wish to have us re-ship the item(s), you must pay for the new shipping & handling charges prior to shipment.
Please note that for the safety of all of our customers, we cannot accept exchanges or returns as we cannot verify if the product was opened and/or used. However, if we sent you the wrong item, please contact customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org within 10 business days of receipt to arrange for a re-shipment of your corrected order at our expense. You must ship the incorrect item back to us in its original packaging with your packing slip enclosed. Once we verify that the item(s) was incorrect, we will reship the correct item(s).
Damaged in Shipping
If your shipment was damaged in transit, contact customer service at email@example.com and we will gladly arrange to send you a replacement. You must ship the damaged item back to us in its original packaging with your packing slip enclosed. Once we verify that the item(s) were damaged, we will reship the correct item(s). Any product(s) returned must follow our Return policy above.
In the unlikely event that any items in your order are unavailable for immediate delivery, we will ship the remainder of your order immediately and ship the balance when it becomes available (with no additional shipping charges).
Orders may be canceled at any time prior to shipment, but since orders ship quickly you should try to contact customer service before 1 p.m. of the day you placed the order (If you place an order before 9am EST, it will likely be shipped that day, so please be sure of your order in this case). If you would like to cancel your order you must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once orders are shipped the sale is considered final and cannot be canceled.
Payment is expected upon completion of placement of the order. If you choose to pay via Paypal, the system will take you to the Paypal site to complete payment. You must complete payment at that time to prevent your order from being canceled. We cannot follow up on every order that does not complete the Paypal process.
Hair products are not considered perishable but may be damaged by weather and temperature extremes. Please ship to an address where your products will NOT be left out to bake, freeze, or be exposed to inclement weather. Damage from inclement weather as well as excessive heat and/or freezing is not covered by Curljunkie.com/Curl Junkie Hair Products LLC or the carrier. Weather and temperature damages are your responsibility.
