Need to smooth out your curls?

Crunch no more! This styling product is the perfect combination of a light styling gel and a curl creme. Get the frizz out with this light hold gel which is best for adding definition to very wavy to very curly hair. Rich in shine enhancing Broccoli seed oil and herbal extracts, our Smoothing Gellie gives your hair definition and bounce without the hard hold/crunch. Honey and Aloe Vera are added for their moisturizing and shine enhancing properties. Adding water after application (such as running your hair quickly through the shower or scrunching in water at the sink), "activates" the gellie even further and helps smooth and seal the hair shaft for added shine and swing. It is not a traditional clear gel, it's creamy texture is due to the Broccoli seed oil content. Lightly scented with a delicious tropical Mango-Coconut-Papaya scent. Give everyone curl envy!

Directions
  • DIRECTIONS: Best applied to wet hair. Apply generously to hair, section by section, smoothing through curls with your fingers. Use more water to help distribute and activate product (by running your hair quickly through the shower or scrunching in water at the sink - don't skip this step!), then comb/(Denman) brush through hair to make waves and curls “pop” and smooth frizzies. Top with a hard hold gel in high humidity weather. Then scrunch/blot with a towel and allow to air-dry or use a diffuser. If your hair is dry, I have found that this gel works well with a small amount of Curl Assurance leave-in or styling water beneath it or on top (depending on your preference). You can also apply this gel to dry hair to spot define curls and smooth frizzies.

Thought I'd post a quick review. I have fine/thin hair. I don't frizz (so smoothing properties of anything aren't quite the same for me lol) so I wasn't looking for a frizz fighter. I LOVE this stuff! I love the smell and the properties. It has a great consistency, is very easy to get through your hair, "grabs" your hair which for me translates into nice chunky waves/curls. It consistently works great for me. It works with just about any leave in I've tried and w/o one as well. An excellent curl definer and enhancer that creates very consistent even curl. Highly recommended!

I am an fan of the Styling Water, so I used that first and then added the Gellie. What I found was that if I ran some water through my hair after I apply the Gellie...Boing! The curls just popped! And not cruncy at all...just soft and spirally!
